The Elsinore The place to be at the Whitby Gothic weekends, a place to drop in, get drunk, catch up with old friends or just to make new ones. Of the three main pubs in Whitby that the gothic community seem to adopt each year (Elsinore, Angel, Buck) This is probably the best. But be warned as it was discovered during this weekend, if you pop in just to see who's about, you had better be prepared to get affected by the atmosphere by getting drunk and staying for a few hours. Just one note that needs to be made, always allow a long time to get to the bar as this place is normally very crowded. Which is the best way to have a pub, Full of interesting people.
